JJR is a great place to work due to the culture. I enjoy having the freedom and encouragement to improve my work space each and every day. Also the small communal atmosphere of a small shop where everyone knows everyone and you have face time with the owner as to not just feel like a number but a person.

Why did you choose to come work at JJR?
I choose to work at JJR because of the small job shop atmosphere where no 2 days are alike. The choice to work at JJR becomes easier when factoring in the freedom given to optimise programs, improve processes and work space. The 4/10 work schedule giving a work life balance is just the cherry on top.

The culture in the shop is unmatched. Being able to go to work every day and look forward to it because you are going to go work with your friends is really something you don’t get everywhere. I know that the next guy has my back and I have theirs. Everyone here truly works as a team and makes JJR operate at that next level.

Why did you choose to come work at JJR?
After being laid off from my previous aerospace employer due to COVID, I was looking to stay in the field and saw the position posted online and applied. After touring the shop with Kevin and seeing how the shop flowed and operated as a team, I knew I needed to be a part of that.

While searching for employment, and after several interviews, JJR had a comfortable feeling – very family like. My decision to accept their offer was the best choice ever in my employment history.

I came to JJR as an entry level employee because of my interest in the industry. JJR made it very easy to learn all about the start to finish manufacturing process.

I previously worked with Bryan at NAT. have worked in the aerospace field since 1990. This is easily the best company I have ever worked for.

JJR has cultivated a very unique work environment that positions all of its employees to reach their highest potential. Everyday we are encouraged to find something that bugs us & fix it. This incrementally eliminates waste within the company over time. We constantly improve our processes & strive for a more fluid tomorrow. We’re a high mix, low volume shop, which means we’re constantly facing new challenges. This inevitably forces us to grow ourselves & those around us to be the best we can be. I genuinely enjoy coming to work here everyday, never once have I felt a “glass ceiling.” At JJR, it’s us against the work & the best idea wins. Our teamwork truly does make our dreams work!

Why did you choose to come work at JJR?
The original general manager inspired me. He told me that if I put the hard work in and devoted my heart & soul to this company, that I would always be taken care of. It’s been over 10 years now & that has proven to be fact. The high mix, low volume atmosphere was also a huge factor for me. I’ve personally never been a fan of doing the same task everyday. I enjoy constantly facing new challenges & constantly learning. Everyday is unique here.
