In 2011, Bryan Richards was in his 13th year as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Northwest Aerospace Technologies, specializing in structures, interiors, testing, and estimating. His brother, Kevin was a decade into his career as a custom fabricator and production management. When Bryan identified an abundant need in the regional aerospace industry for quality parts delivered in an exceptionally short amount of time, he tapped his brother for help and JJR was born.
JJR started in Bryan’s garage with a CNC mill, router table, and press brake. Using these machines and a relentless focus on quality, JJR was able to manufacture aerospace parts and components quickly to meet all customer requirements and expectations.
Since its humble beginnings, JJR is vastly different today. Boasting a 20,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility and 2,000 square feet of administrative space, JJR is home to 30+ employees who expertly serve both the commercial aerospace, defense, and space sectors. Leveraging a robust lean manufacturing culture and cutting edge ERP software, JJR delivers a wide variety of parts and components to clients all over the United States.
